Ed and Amanda have been married for nearly 26 years and have 3 children. The Underwood's have grown up in the Johnson and Henry County area and have been attending Allen Street Baptist Church for 6 plus years. Since attending ABC they have served in several different capacities. For nearly 5 years Ed and Amanda have been working in the Celebrate Recovery ministry. Four (4) years ago, Ed felt a call of God on his life to full time ministry and has since been licensed to the gospel ministry.

Ed is a certified Anger Management Specialist and Trainer and is available to work with individuals and couples to help overcome their anger issues.  He is also a certified Christian Pastoral Counselor and is available for sessions.  Amanda is a full time employee as a Health Specialist/RN for the State of Missouri.

Ed and Amanda have three chidlren:  Erin is the oldest is employed with Royal Oaks. She is also a Sunday school teacher for 4th and 5th grade. Erin just purchased her first house here in Clinton.  Praise The Lord.  The “middle” child is Matt. Matt is living in Jefferson City with his new bride, Bobbie.  Amy is the youngest and is in the 9th grade. Amy has received an award for excelling in math for 2 years in a row during the state MAP testing as well as being an honor roll student. Amy loves to sing and help care for other children.
